REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
MSPA is pleased to announce the development of Regional branches! As MSPA has grown, communication is key in helping each of our Chapters and National Members. With the development of our Regions, we believe our family will be connected more now than ever. Direct communication with chapters to their Region’s leaders will expedite and organize any questions or ideas back to MSPA National. Additionally, our Regions will provide ample opportunities in leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and more. We hope you are excited as we are for this next step!
We have distributed our almost 100 chapters into 5 preliminary Regions. As MSPA grows, these Regions will be expanded and broken down further into an eventual 9 total Regions. The geographic distribution has been chosen to best represent those students in their more unique medical school experiences. The 5 preliminary Regions are as follows:
Region A: CT, DC, DE, NH, NJ, NY, MA, MD, ME, PA, RI, VA, VT, WV
Region B: AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, PR, SC, TN
Region C: AR, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, OK, SD, WI
Region D: AZ, CO, NM, NV, TX, UT
Region E: AK, CA, ID, HI, MT, OR, WA, WY
REGIONAL LEADERSHIP
We’re recruiting leaders to run the Regions! As a Regional Leader, you will play a direct role in developing and growing your region while connecting with peers in your area. All MSPA Chapter and National Members are eligible to apply for a position in their respective Regions.
Your responsibilities will be to be a voice for local concerns in your region and to plan events for your region.
