FAE KRONMAN (THEY/THEM)

Penn State University College of Medicine

Fae is currently a 5th year MD/PhD student at Penn State University. They have previously served MSPA as the Director of External Affairs for 2 years, and the Director of Marketing & Design for 1 year. During their time at Boston University they earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Medical Sciences, focusing on Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. Before entering medical school, Fae worked as a clinical research coordinator at Boston Children’s Hospital and Stanford University, focusing their time on improving pediatric pain neuroimaging and treatment intervention. After medical school, they intend to enter a psychiatry residency and pursue a career in adolescent transgender healthcare. Outside academics, Fae can be found hiking, biking, climbing, or looking for a trendy new café to explore.

SABINA SPIGNER (SHE/HER)

University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
Class of 2023

Sabina is an MS3 at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She holds an M.S. in Biology from Chatham University and an M.P.H. from the Jefferson College of Population Health. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with her Bachelors degree in Neuroscience and Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies. Her interests include MedEd, sexual and gender minority health/healthcare, diversity and inclusion, and reproductive health. Outside of being the truest of true nerds, Sabina enjoys spending time mentoring,  watching way too many TV shows and movies, reading, professionally dog sitting, and solving puzzles.

MSPA Committee Directors

 

  • Provides a forum for collective action and collaboration between LGBTQ+ medical students

  • Responsible for all chapter affairs


  • Represents the outward-facing contact for parties approaching MSPA

  • Leads collaboration projects with our partners and peer organizations


  • Responsible for the financial health and compliance of the organization


  • Develops the MSPA brand and maximizes aesthetic impact

  • Responsible for Social Media outreach


  • Responsible for overseeing administrative tasks and organizational hygiene necessary for the successful operation of MSPA


  • Manages the scholarly activities and resources of MSPA and its members


  • Seeks opportunities to ensure intersectional inclusion throughout MSPA

  • Develops programming with on issues of diversity and belonging.


  • Promote recruitment of queer students into medicine

  • Unite all LGBTQ+ medical students

  • Increase collaboration among queer medical communities
